Ingredients
- 4-6 sliced, peeled apples
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2-2/2 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make delicious jewish apple cake

Step 1In medium bowl, combine apple slices, cinnamon and 5 tbsp. sugar. Set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; beat until batter is smooth. Batter will be thick.

Step 2Pour a small amount of batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Place a layer of apple slices on top of batter. Continue layering in this fashion, ending with a layer of batter.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Cool in pan 30 minutes on wire rack. Turn cake out on rack to cool thoroughly.
