Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups canola oil
- 2 cups sugar (or splenda)
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups peeled & chopped apples
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)
How To Make delicious, easy apple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 X 13 pan. In a large bowl, mix the canola oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric mixer, until smooth.

Step 2Add the remaining ingredients BY HAND, mixing well. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes. Then increase the oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for another 35-40 minutes. Cake will be done when a toothpick comes out clean. No icing required. This cake is moist and delicious. Enjoy!
