These don't hang out very long here, my hubbies favorite! They melt in your mouth! I didn't add nuts to this because he doesn't care for any kind of nut.....except me! I have used my leftover chocolate frosting to melt and drizzle on top! WOW, too good!

unsalted butter, melted (2 1/2 sticks)
2 c
white sugar
4 large
2 tsp
real vanilla extract
1 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
3/4 c
dark chocolate cocoa

How to Make Delicious Dark Chocolate Brownies!


  • 1Preheat your oven at 350 degrees

    Grease and flour a 9 x 13 Pyrex dish.

    Have ingredients at hand.
  • 2Beat eggs in a medium size bowl with a hand held mixer on high until frothy.
  • 3Add your sugar, continue to mix on low until blended
  • 4Add cooled melted butter, vanilla and salt. Continue to mix on low until blended. set aside.
  • 5Mix your flour and cocoa powder in a separate bowl and whisk to blend.
  • 6Add your flour and cocoa powder to your wet ingredients with a wooden spoon.
  • 7Pour into your batter in the baking dish and bake for 35 minutes.
    After it's finished cooking and cooled slightly, cut into squares then carefully lift out and place on a wire rack to cool.
  • 8As you can see, they are already disappearing! Darn him! I'm not finished yet....
  • 9Dust with powdered sugar.
  • 10Serve!
