delectable bundt cake, mom's recipe
Here's another of Mom's handwritten recipes that I have enjoyed eating and making for many years. The combination of 3 different extracts makes this cake different and delectable! Someone gave her this one. Its not in her handwriting. No name is on the card but it says, "Here is the recipe you asked for. I hope you like it. Then Mom added, "Good with strawberries and Cool Whip."

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 5 large eggs at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract

Step 1I really encourage you to try using all 3 extracts. This makes a special, delectable, and different cake. If you prefer you may use 1 or 2 extracts instead. Just be sure to use a total of 3 teaspoons of flavorings. (Mint is nice with vanilla.)

Step 2Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease Bundt pan even if you are using a non-stick Bundt pan. Combine sugar, flour, butter, eggs, and flavorings in a mixer bowl and beat for approximately 10 minutes or until very smooth. Pour into preparedpan and bake for 1 hour or until done.

Step 3Dust with powdered sugar or thin icing if you like. Serve with strawberries (or other fruit) and whipped topping.
