This is a moist, tasty cake which I make often. It's always a hit with family, friends and get togethers. It's easy to make and delicious with or without cream cheese frosting...

Ingredients

3-4 cups diced apples
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup salad oil
2 - beaten eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup water
ADD
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make dee's fresh apple cake

Step 1

Mix well by hand

Step 2

Bake in greased 9X13 baking pan
Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Since ovens vary, check after 30 minutes and guage time accordingly. Don't over bake. Cake should be a bit soft to touch.
Step 4

Let cool and frost lightly with cream cheese frosting
