I made this recipe for the first time this Easter and it was a huge hit! Beware though, I had pudding running down the sides of my trifle bowl when I was preparing it.

Ingredients

1 package chocolate cake mix
3 small packages instant chocolate pudding mix
8 ounces tub cool whip
1 package heath bits, divided into 4 equal portions

How To Make death by chocolate

Step 1

Prepare cake according to directions for 9X13 cake. Cool and cut into 1 1/2" cubes.

Step 2

Prepare pudding mixes according to package directions one at a time.
Step 3

In a trifle bowl, alternate layers of cake cubes, pudding and Heath bits 3 times. Top with cool whip and Heath bits.
