Ingredients

  • 1 package dark chocolate cake mix, and ingredients w/ cake mix
  • 1 box instant dark chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups 1% milk, divided
  • 1 - 2.8 oz jar hershey's chocolate topping
  • 1 box instant dark chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 - container light cool whip
  • 1 - 6.8 oz bar, hershey's dark chocolate candy bar, chopped

How To Make dark chocolate poke cake

  • Step 1
    Bake cake as directed on box, using a 9" x 13" baking pan sprayed w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, mix 1 box pudding mix w/ 2 cups milk.
  • Step 2
    Poke holes in cake, using the end of a wooden spoon. Slowly pour pudding over cake holes. Microwave the topping in a microwave bowl 45 seconds. Pour over the top of cake.
  • Step 3
    Let cool. In a bowl, whisk together the remaining box of pudding mix and remaining milk. Fold in whipped cream. Spread evenly over cake. Sprinkle w/ chopped candy. Refrigerate 4 hrs before serving.
