- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup margarine (more or less)
- 1/4 cup sugar (more or less)
How To Make danish applecake

Step 1This gets caramelized, sort of, in a hot skillet. You keep stirring and turning it all around and over, you know, I mean the oats. This is one layer of the applecake - do the same thing again for the second layer.

Step 2Then in between layers are raw apples, shredded, something like 6 medium Delicious or Jonathan's are very good. Drip raw lemon on it to prevents darkening of apples and add a fresh taste

Step 3Alternate layers of apple shreddings and oats crunchy.

Step 4On top put whipped cream, 1 pint. 1 maraschino cherry in middle just for looks.
