Ingredients
- PART ONE
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup shortening
- PART TWO
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup sifted cake flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup milk
How To Make crumb cake

Step 1Rub flour, sugar and shortening. (Part 1), together until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup to sprinkle over the top of the cake.

Step 2Mix ingredients of part two thoroughly. Spread in greased cake pan, sprinkle with reserved crumbs.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
