Good old-fashioned Louisiana cake!

Ingredients

1 c
sugar
2
eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1 1/3 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
3 Tbsp
melted butter
2 oz
melted chocolate
1/2 c
milk
2 1/2 tsp
baking powder

FROSTING:

2 Tbsp
strong black coffee
1/2 tsp
vanilla
2 Tbsp
cocoa powder
1 c
powdered sugar

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Gradually beat the sugar into eggs, add melted butter and chocolate.
3Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon twice.
4Add alternately with milk.
5Pour into 7 x 11 inch pan.
6Bake about 25 minutes. Cool and cover with Creole Frosting.
7FROSTING: Stir ingredients together. Pour over cooled caked.
