creme de banana cake
OK--I love using liquers in cakes. This one intrigued me--and it is very good (I got it from a credit union employee when I worked in Louisiana). I am tempted to try a chocolate glaze the next time I make it, since chocolate and banana seem to go so well together.

Ingredients
- 1 package golden butter cake mix
- 1 package instant banana pudding (4 serving size)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup creme de banana
- 1/2 cup water
- GLAZE
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup creme de banana
- 1/4 cup water
How To Make creme de banana cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 10 cup bundt pan with PAM.

Step 2Mix first six ingredients together and pour into prepared pan.

Step 3Bake for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.

Step 4After cake has cooled, make glaze by combining sugar, butter, creme de banana and water in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, and continue to cook for 3 minutes.

Step 5Pour glaze over cooled cake.
