I love cream cheese and figured why not add it to a basic coffeecake recipe to see if it would make the cake even denser and creamier. And WOW!! Yummy. Next up, I'm going to add cocoa powder to make it chocolate.

In another bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup brown sugar until smooth. Mix in 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Stir in 1/4 cup pecans. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder, and baking soda.

In another lg bowl, beat remaining 2 sticks butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time until combined. Mix in 1 tsp vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mix. Stir in sour cream, mix until well combined. Pour batter into pan. Top batter w/ spoonfuls of cream cheese mix. Using a knife, go up and down the batter to swirl. Sprinkle top w/ crumb mix. Bake 40-45 min, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Check at 40 mins, to make sure it doesn't over cook.
