  • 1 1/2 c
    butter or margarine, softened (3 sticks)
  • 8 oz
    package of cream cheese, softened
  • 3 c
  • 6
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 3 c
    sifted all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Cream Cheese Pound Cake


  1. Preheat oven 325 degrees
  2. Grease and flour 10 inch tube or 12 cup Bundt pan
  3. Beat butter and cream cheese together in a large bowl until well blended
  4. Add eggs - one (1) at a time beating well after each addition
  5. Blend in vanilla
  6. Sift flour and salt together and blend into creamed mixture
  7. Spoon into prepared pan
  8. Bake 1 hour and 15-30 minutes until toothpick inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean
  9. Cool in pan 5 minutes; then turn onto wire rack and cool completely
