Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine, softened (3 sticks)
- 8 ounces package of cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 - eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make cream cheese pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven 325 degrees

Step 2Grease and flour 10 inch tube or 12 cup Bundt pan

Step 3Beat butter and cream cheese together in a large bowl until well blended

Step 4Add eggs - one (1) at a time beating well after each addition

Step 5Blend in vanilla

Step 6Sift flour and salt together and blend into creamed mixture

Step 7Spoon into prepared pan

Step 8Bake 1 hour and 15-30 minutes until toothpick inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean

Step 9Cool in pan 5 minutes; then turn onto wire rack and cool completely
