This pound cake recipe was given to me by the children's Grandmother. I have made it for over 20 years. Every time someone new tastes it they want the recipe.

Ingredients For cream cheese pound cake

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 stick
    margarine, room temperature
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    cake flour. sifted before measuring
  • 6 lg
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    flavoring or extract, your choice

How To Make cream cheese pound cake

  • 1
    preheat oven to 325, grease and flour a bundt pan
  • 2
    cream cream cheese and margarine until mixed well. Add sugar 1 cup at a time mixing well after each.

    Add 1 cup flour and 2 eggs mixing well after each until all 3 cups flour and 6 eggs are added. Add flavoring with addition of last cup of flour and eggs mixing well
  • 4
    Spoon into pan and shake gently to level in pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hr until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
