Ingredients

1 stick
margarine
2 stick
butter
1
(8 oz container) cream cheese
3 c
sugar
6 large
eggs
3 c
sifted flour
1 tsp
vanilla
pinch of salt

How to Make Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 275 degrees F
  • 2In a large mixing bowl - Cream together the margarine, butter and cream cheese
  • 3Add sugar; cream this together very well
  • 4Add eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition
  • 5In a seperate large mixing bowl - Combine flour and salt; add this mixture to the creamed mixture
  • 6Add vanilla; beat well
  • 7Pour into greased and flour tube pan
  • 8Bake at 275 degrees F for 1 hour and 45 minutes
