cream cheese pound cake
This is a recipe my Aunt gave me when my husband and I got married 34 years ago. It is a favorite of my kids and grandkids, kind of a go to quick and easy dessert. Sometimes I add differnt things to the recipe to change up the flavors. I chop butterfinger candy bars and mix in, or oreo cookies, just about anything would be good in this cake.

- 6 - eggs, room temperature
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1-(8) ounce ceam cheese, softened
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 2 cups plain flour
- 3 cups sugar
How To Make cream cheese pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Sift both flours together and add to mixture, beat until mixed. Spray tube pan with cooking spray and dust with flour. Pour cake mixture into pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
