- 8 ounces (1 pkg. cream cheese)
- 1 pound butter, softened (yes, 1 lb! not a typo!!!)
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 8 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 2 cups regular flour
How To Make cream cheese pound cake

Step 1Grease and flour a 10" tube pan. Preheat oven to 300

Step 2Cream butter and cream cheese, add sugar, mix well. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixing thoroughly. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OVEN!!! (cooking time varies. Anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours depending on oven) Cool before removing from pan.
