Ingredients

8 oz
(1 pkg. cream cheese)
1 lb
butter, softened (yes, 1 lb! not a typo!!!)
3 c
granulated sugar
8
eggs
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
self rising flour
2 c
regular flour

How to Make Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grease and flour a 10" tube pan. Preheat oven to 300
  • 2Cream butter and cream cheese, add sugar, mix well. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixing thoroughly.

    Pour into prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OVEN!!! (cooking time varies. Anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours depending on oven)
    Cool before removing from pan.
