  • 8 oz
    (1 pkg. cream cheese)
  • 1 lb
    butter, softened (yes, 1 lb! not a typo!!!)
  • 3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 8
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 2 c
    regular flour

How to Make Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease and flour a 10" tube pan. Preheat oven to 300
  2. Cream butter and cream cheese, add sugar, mix well. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixing thoroughly.

    Pour into prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OVEN!!! (cooking time varies. Anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours depending on oven)
    Cool before removing from pan.
