  • 1 box butter or vanilla cake mix
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • CREAM CHEESE LAYER
  • 1 package cream cheese, 8 oz
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • FROSTING
  • 2 packages cream cheese, 8 oz
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make cream cheese cake

  • Cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil added to a bowl.
    Step 1
    Mix together box cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil.
  • A baking dish buttered and floured.
    Step 2
    Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.
  • Batter poured into a the baking dish.
    Step 3
    Pour batter into the pan. Set aside.
  • Cream cheese, egg, and sugar in a bowl.
    Step 4
    Mix together cream cheese, egg, and sugar.
  • Adding vanilla to the mixture.
    Step 5
    Then add vanilla.
  • Spreading the cream cheese layer over the cake batter.
    Step 6
    Layer this mixture evenly over the top of the cake batter bringing it almost to the edge of the pan.
  • Cake ready to bake in the oven.

    Bake cake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.

    If making cupcakes, fill cupcake liner about halfway. Put a teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the middle of the batter. Cook at 350 for 20 minutes.
