Cranberry Quick Cake
It is moist ~ and I really love anything with cranberries in it !

1 1/4 csifted flour
1/2 cocean spray whole fresh cranberries i have used the whole frozen as well.
1/2 cchopped walnuts
1/2 tspeach of/cinnamon/salt & baking soda
How to Make Cranberry Quick Cake
- Sift together all dry ingredients, add egg, shortening, applesauce and vanilla. Beat until smooth, stir in cranberries and nuts.
- Spread in well greased 9" square pan for bars, or 8" square pan for cake. Bake 25-30 min. (depending on what size pan you use) check with toothpick in middle)
When taken from oven spread 1 can of cranberry sauce over top as glaze while still warm.
When cool, top with either, cool whip, confectioners sugar, or vanilla ice cream.
