Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 c
    biscuit mix
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 2/3 c
    water
  • 2/3 c
    whole berry cranberry sauce
  • POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE

  • 1 c
    sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    plus 1 tsp of water
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Cranberry-Nut Coffee Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Powdered Sugar Glaze: Combine all ingrediants. Stir well. Set Aside.
  2. Combine brown sugar, walnuts & cinnamon; Mix well, and set aside.
  3. Combine biscuit mix, sugar, egg, and water; Beat 30 sec. at med. speed. Pour batter into a greased 9" square pan.
    Sprinkle batter with walnut mixture, and spoon cranberry sauce evenly over top.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 min. or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Drizzle glaze over warm cake.
