Ingredients
- - 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
- - 1/2 cup sugar
- - 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- - 1/4 tsp. salt
- - 4 tbsp. butter or margarine
- - 1 slightly beaten egg
- - 3 tbsp. milk
- - 1 tsp. vanilla
- - 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries, chopped
- - 1/2 cup sifted flour
- - 1/2 cup brown sugar
- - 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- - 4 tbsp. butter or margarine

Step 1Sift together the 1 1/4 cups flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in first 4 Tbsp. butter til mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix egg, milk and vanilla; add t dry ingredients and mix well. Spread in greased 8 x 8 inch baking pan. Spoon cranberries over batter

Step 2Mix 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in remaining 4 Tbsp. butter til mixture resembles coarse crumbs. sprinkle over cranberries. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes
