Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 - apples, pared and sliced thin
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 - egg
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make cranberry apple cake

Step 1Put cranberries in 9" pie plate sprayed with pam.

Step 2Cook apples, brown sugar, and water together until apples are tender. Pour over the cranberries.

Step 3Beat butter and sugar together. Add egg and applesauce. Mix in rest of ingredients. Mix well. Spread this over apples.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes, until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Invert onto plate.
