Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease and flour Bunt pan then set aside.
Mix dry cake mix, dry pudding mix,honey, eggs,milk, white wine and vegetable oil together very well. Stir in the pecan pieces. Pour batter into the prepared Bunt pan. Bake for 1 hour.
About 5 minutes before cake is done, make the White Wine Glaze.
White Wine Glaze
1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup Sutter Home Chardonney white wine (or any other white wine)
Melt butter or margarine in medium size saucepan. Add the sugar and white wine and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes.
When White Wine Cake is done, remove from oven then poke holes all over the top of the cake then pour the glaze over cake. Let cake sit on wire rack for 30 minutes, then remove from pan. Can serve while warm or at room temp.
