My husband loves this cake with a homemade chocolate frosting. I'm not sure of the baking time because I bake it until it springs back at the touch.

Ingredients
- 2 - eggs
- 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 2 1/4 cups cake flour or 2 cups regular flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1Mix and bake at 350. in a 9"x9" greased and floured pan.

Step 2NOTE: YOU CAN ALSO ADD 3/4 CUP OF RAISINS COATED IN FLOUR ....I like it with raisins
