This cake was always made by one of my aunts. I finally got the super easy recipe out of her and now the family looks to me to make it for functions. The combination of these simple ingredients are divine on a hot summer night.

Ingredients
- 1 box pistachio pudding
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 - tub of cool whip
How To Make cool summer cake

Step 1Prepare Pistachio pudding according to directions on box and refrigerate.

Step 2Prepare yellow cake mix according to directions on box using a 13x9 baking pan/dish.

Step 3When cake is finished baking and while hot poke holes throughout and pour the juice from the crushed pineapple then refrigerate.

Step 4When the cake is completely cooled, top with the remaining crushed pineapple.

Step 5Top with pistachio pudding then top with Cool Whip.

Step 6Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
