Started my own "sweets" business.. and this cupcake is a big favorite!!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 6 tablespoons vanilla malt powder
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6-8 cups powdered sugar

How To Make coffee-choco cupcake with malted buttercream

  • Step 1
    Cupcake directions: Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk and coffee, beating well after each addition. Fill paper-lined cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350* for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 2
    ButterCream directions: Cream butter, malt powder, vanilla, and milk. Add powdered sugar at least 6 cups till you get the consistency you prefer. Frost cooled cupcakes and enjoy!!
