all purpose flour
1/2 c
cocoa powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 c
buttermilk
1/2 c
strong brewed coffee
1 c
salted butter, softened
6 Tbsp
vanilla malt powder
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1/2 c
milk
6-8 c
powdered sugar

How to Make Coffee-Choco Cupcake with Malted ButterCream

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cupcake directions:

    Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk and coffee, beating well after each addition. Fill paper-lined cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350* for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • 2ButterCream directions:

    Cream butter, malt powder, vanilla, and milk. Add powdered sugar at least 6 cups till you get the consistency you prefer. Frost cooled cupcakes and enjoy!!
