Ingredients For coffee cake

  • CAKE
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 3/4 c
    splenda
  • 1/3 c
    melted butter
  • 1/2 c
    2% milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanillla extract
  • 1/2 c
    nuts
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar splenda
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    almonds, chopped

How To Make coffee cake

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients for cake and pour into greased and floured 8"x9" pan
  • 2
    Sprinkle top of cake with topping ingredients that have been combined to pea size.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. I cut the cake while still warm.

    In this recipe you can add banana, apple sauce and any nut. I prefer just the basic recipe.
