This coffee cake is so delicious, I have a hard time not eating the whole thing

Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - egg beaten
  • 3/4 cup splenda
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanillla extract
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar splenda
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4-1/2 cup almonds, chopped

How To Make coffee cake

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients for cake and pour into greased and floured 8"x9" pan
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle top of cake with topping ingredients that have been combined to pea size.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. I cut the cake while still warm.
  • Step 4
    In this recipe you can add banana, apple sauce and any nut. I prefer just the basic recipe.
