My Mom use to make this cake for us when we were young. It was quick and easy and it was delicious.

Ingredients For coffee cake

1 boxyellow cake mix
-
1 pkginstant lemon pudding mix

3/4 cwater
-
3/4 coil
-
4eggs
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 tspbutter flavoring
-
1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

2 Tbspcinnamon
-
1 cchopped nuts, if desired
How To Make coffee cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2Combine cake and pudding mixes, water and oil in mixing bowl.

3Stir until blended, add eggs one at a time and beating well after each addition.

4Add vanilla extract and butter flavoring and beat well.

5Combine sugar and pecans, if desired or just the sugar mixture.

6sprinkle 1/4 cup of the sugar mixture in the bottom of a lightly greased Bunt pan or 13 x 9 pan.

7Add some of the batter and repeat layers ending with batter.

8Bake 50 minutes to an hour or until done.

9Cool 15 minutes and remove to dish to continue cooling.
