Ingredients
- FOR THE CAKE :
- 1 box spice cake mix
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 - eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup flaked coconut
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts ; pecans or walnuts
- FILLING :
- 3/4 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts ; pecans or walnuts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- GLAZE :
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, room temperature
- 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
How To Make coconut streusel spice cake

Step 1Grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt ban or a 10" tube pan.( I use the can spray already mixed together ).

Step 2In a large mixing bowl combine the cake mix , eggs , milk and butter . Using an electric mixer on low speed mix until its all blended together. Fold in the measured coconut and nuts for the cake.

Step 3Pour 1/2 the batter in the prepared bundt pan.

Step 4In a small mix up the ingredients for the filling ; Sprinkle 1 cup of the filling on top of the cake in the bundt pan ; Reserve 1/2 cup filling for top of cake.

Step 5Cover filling with the remaining cake batter and then sprinkle the reserved filling mixture on top.

Step 6Bake @ 350° for 45-55 minutes or until done.

Step 7COOL CAKE UPRIGHT IN PAN FOR 30 MINUTES AND THEN INVERT PAN AND REMOVE CAKE FROM THE PAN.COOL COMPLETELY.

Step 8In a small mixing bowl mix up the glaze ingredients until you achieve a drizzle consistency icing ; drizzle over the top and down the sides of the cake.
