The honey and coconut put a wonderful moist twist on the standard yellow cake.

Ingredients For coconut pudding cake

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 pkg
    (4 servings) vanilla pudding
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1½ c
    flaked coconut

How To Make coconut pudding cake

    Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl. Blend; then beat for 2 minutes at high speed.

    Set aside 1/4 cup of coconut; stir the remaining coconut into the batter.

    Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan or bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.

    Cool in pan for 15 minutes; remove from pan.

    Brush the top of the cake with honey; sprinkle with the remaining coconut.
