- 1 1/3 cups shredded coconut

How To Make coconut pecan frosting

Step 1In medium sized sauce pan combine evaporated milk, sugar,egg yolks and butter.Cook over medium heat until thickened (about 12 minutes)stirring occasionally.

Step 2Remove from heat and add coconut, vanilla extract and chopped pecans.Stir then allow to cool to spreading consistency,stirring occasionally.
