Ingredients

1 c
evaporated milk
1 c
granulated sugar
3
egg yolks beaten
1/2 c
butter
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/3 c
shredded coconut
1 c
chopped pecans

How to Make coconut pecan frosting

Step-by-Step

  • 1In medium sized sauce pan combine evaporated milk,
    sugar,egg yolks and butter.Cook over medium heat
    until thickened (about 12 minutes)stirring occasionally.
  • 2Remove from heat and add coconut, vanilla extract
    and chopped pecans.Stir then allow to cool to spreading consistency,stirring occasionally.
