I love Coconut cakes, and Ive tried many different recipes, but this has become the one and only coconut cake recipe I always use, it is so moist and good, it makes a big tall cake with alot of yummy frosting.

Ingredients
- 1 box duncan hines butter white cake mix
- 2 eight ounces sour cream
- 2 packages frozen coconut
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 large cool whip
How To Make coconut cake & frosting

Step 1Bake cake in 3 layers according to directions on box. Split cakes in half when cool.

Step 2Put sour cream, coconut, sugar and cool whip together. Mix well with spatula, spread between layers, then top and sides of cake, until using all frosting.

Step 3Refrigerate. (Can be made day before) The longer it is refridgerated the better it gets
