Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 package vanilla instant pudding, 3.5oz box can use coconut cream pudding
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts, pecans or walnuts
- - coconut frosting
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package cream cheese, 8 oz softened
How To Make coconut cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13x9 baking pan.

Step 2Blend cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs. and oil in a large mixing bowl. Beat a medium speed for 4 minutes or until batter is well blended. Stir in coconut and chopped nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost cake when completely cooled.

Step 3Coconut frosting.

Step 4Cream butter with the cream cheese. Add the milk and confectioners' alternately, beating well. Add vanilla and stir in 1 3/4 cups coconut.

Step 5Frost completely cooled cake. Sprinkle with remaining coconut.
