1 pkgyellow cake mix

1 pkgvanilla instant pudding, 3.5oz box can use coconut cream pudding

1 1/3 cwater

4 lgeggs
-
1/4 cvegetable oil

2 cflaked coconut
-
1 cchopped nuts, pecans or walnuts

coconut frosting
-
2 Tbspbutter or margarine

2 cflaked coconut

2 Tbspmilk
-
3 1/2 cconfectioners' sugar

1/2 tspvanilla extract

1 pkgcream cheese, 8 oz softened
How To Make coconut cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13x9 baking pan.

2Blend cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs. and oil in a large mixing bowl. Beat a medium speed for 4 minutes or until batter is well blended. Stir in coconut and chopped nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost cake when completely cooled.

3Coconut frosting.

4Cream butter with the cream cheese. Add the milk and confectioners' alternately, beating well. Add vanilla and stir in 1 3/4 cups coconut.

5Frost completely cooled cake. Sprinkle with remaining coconut.
