i have made the cake about 3 times 1rst was last year thanks giveing then last year christmas then this year for my godmothers birthday everyone loves it the only flaw is its so moist it just falls apart but everyone say so what its all going in the same place.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
11/2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup coconut
8oz cups cool whip

How To Make coconut cake

Step 1

prepare a yellow cake cool 15 or more mins.

Step 2

put milk,sugar,and coconut in sauce pan and boil on simmer for about 5 mins.
Step 3

poke holes in the cake w/fork.
Step 4

spoon liquid over cake.
Step 5

put 8oz cool whip on top as if it were iceing.
Step 6

put a lot or as much as you want coconut on the top.
