Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup cocoa-cola
- 1-1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon soda (dissolve in buttermilk)
- 2 - eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
- FROSTING
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoons coke
- 1 box 10x sugar (confectionary sugar)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or almonds)
How To Make cocoa cola cake

Step 1Sift together flour and sugar.

Step 2Combine the butter, Crisco, cocoa and Cocoa-Cola. Bring to a rapid boil and pour over flour and sugar. Add the marshmallows, buttermilk (dissolve soda in it), eggs and vanilla.

Step 3Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch sheet cake pan, or you can also use 2 (8 or 9 inch) layer pans, if you'd like. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes in sheet pan, and 25-35 in layer pans.

Step 4Melt butter, cocoa and Coke in saucepan.

Step 5Sift powdered sugar into bow. Pour hot mixture over top. Add flavoring. Beat well with mixer. Spread on cake. Sprinkle top with chopped nuts of your choice.
