coca-cola cake
My friend gave me a cook book she got from the Coca-cola bottling company. I tried this cake and get tons of complements on it!

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup coca-colaa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- FROSTING
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoons coca-cola
- 1 box confectioners sugar (16 ozs)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
How To Make coca-cola cake

Step 1PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. Sift sugar and flour in a medium bowl. Add marshmallows. In a sauce pan, mix butter, oil, cocoa and Coca-cola. Bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients;blend well. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk just before adding to batter along with eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

Step 2POUR into a well greased 13 x 9 inch pan and bake 35-45 minutes. Remove from oven and frost immediately.

Step 3If you choose to use a bundt pan as I did you may need to cook up to 10 minutes more. Use a toothpick to test the middle. Make sure the toothpick comes out clean.

Step 4For Frosting: Combine butter, cocoa and Coca-cola in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and pour over confectioners sugar, blending well. Add vanilla and pecans (if using pecans), spread over hot cake. When cool, cut into squares and serve.
