Ingredients

- 1 box of devils food cake mix
- 1 can of strawberry pie filling
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

How To Make coal miners cake

Step 1

Mix first 4 ingredients by hand in bowl.

Step 2

Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. When done remove from oven and make icing as follows:

Melt oleo in pan with evaporated milk. Boil one minute.
Step 5

Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Step 6

Spread over warm cake. Let cool and enjoy.
