- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons plus 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (slightly cooled)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- CINNAMON SUGAR
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- TOPPING
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese frosting
How To Make cinnamon swirl snickerdoodle mug cake

Step 1In a small bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. In a separate bowl, mix the additional cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.

Step 2Add wet ingredients to the first bowl. Mix with a small whisk until just combined.

Step 3Pour half the batter into a 12 oz mug.

Step 4Add 1 tsp of cinnamon sugar on top of the batter.

Step 5Pour the other half of the batter into the mug. Top with the remaining cinnamon sugar.

Step 6Take a butter knife and give it a quick swirl.

Step 7Place in the microwave. Cook for about 90 seconds. Time may vary depending on the strength of your microwave. (Carefully remove the mug, it’s hot!)

Step 8The cake will puff up while cooking. When removed from the microwave it will settle down to about an inch from the rim.

Step 9Top with 1 Tbsp of store-bought cream cheese frosting. If you top with frosting while it’s hot, it will melt like the topping on a cinnamon roll.
