What else can I say other than these are so good and easy ..easy ..easy !

These were delicious! The only change I made was to add some nutmeg to the batter and instead of using liners, I baked them, then dipped them in butter and coated with cinnamon and sugar!

Ingredients

1/3 cup shortening ; soft
1 cup sugar
1 - egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make cinnamon & sugar donut muffins

Step 1

mix together the first 8 ingredients to make the batter.

Step 2

Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 way full.
Step 3

Bake @ 350 deg. for 20-30 minutes.
Step 4

Mean while mix together the remaining cinnamon and sugar.
Step 5

When muffins are done ; Immediatly roll them in the remaining 6 Tbs. of melted butter and then the cinnamon sugar mixture.
