Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup buttermilk (can substitute w/1 tbs. white vinegar or lemon juice plus milk to equal 1 cup--let stand for 5-10 minutes)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 cup apples, chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1 tablespoon butter

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Mix ingredients (except last three) in order given. Pour batter into 9" X 13" greased baking pan.

Step 3Combine remaining ingredients to make topping and sprinkle evenly over batter.
