Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cups flour
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- CREAM CHEESE ICING
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups powedered sugar

How To Make cinnamon streusel kuchen

Step 1Spray a 9x9-inch pan; set aside. Combine 1 cup of flour and yeast in large bowl and set aside.

Step 2Heat milk in small saucepan, stir in sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and salt. Heat just until warm and butter is almost melted. Add milk mixture & eggs to flour mixture. Beat on low for 30 seconds, scrape sides and beat on high speed for 2 minutes or until smooth. Beat in remaining flour and beat until batter is stiff.

Step 3In prepared pan, pour half the batter. Stir together in small bowl the brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, and the cinnamon. Fold in walnuts. Spoon the mixture over the batter. Spoon on remaining batter on top of walnut mixture, cover and let rise for 1 hour.

Step 4Preheat oven to 350*. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack for at least 30 minutes before frosting.

Step 5CREAM CHEESE ICING: In medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, 2 tbsp. of butter and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and 1 tsp. milk (one a time) until desired consistency. Spread over cake. 14 points per serving
