My husband's personal favorite! Modified from Bisquick box recipe.

Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 2 cups bisquit mix (whatever you prefer)
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 2/3 cup orange juice, apple juice or milk
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon clove, ground
- CRISP TOPPING:
- 1/3 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/8 teaspoon clove, ground
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, soft
- 1 ounce almonds, sliced (optional)
- ICING (IF DESIRED):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/8 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or cinnamon extract
- 2 tablespoons orange juice, apple juice or milk
- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted
How To Make cinnamon & spice coffee cake with crisp topping

Step 1FOR CAKE: Preheat oven to 375* F. Stir cake ingredients in medium bowl until blended. Grease bread pan or 9" round pan. Pour cake mixture into pan. Sprinkle with crisp topping. Bake 28-33 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10-15 minutes.

Step 2CRISP TOPPING: Stir together ingredients in a small bowl until margarine/butter is well mixed into topping. Sprinkle over cake batter.

Step 3ICING (OPTIONAL): Mix icing ingredients briskly together until while cake is baking. After cake has cooled, drizzle onto top.

Step 4GARNISHES (if you like): Orange slices, cinnamon sticks, apple slices & whatever else strikes your fancy!
