How to Make Cinnamon Marble Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Mix 1/2 cu of sugar, the cocoa and cinnamon in small bowl. Beat the butter and cream cheese in large bowl with mixer at medium speed until creamy. Gradually beat in the remaining sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until just blended after each addition. With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread 2/3 of the batter in the prepared pan. Sprinkle with the cocoa mixture. Spoon remaining batter on top and run a knife through the layers to create a marbled effect. Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 40 to 50 minutes. Cool cake completely on a wire rack. Serves 8 to 10
