Ingredients

1 box duncan hines spice cake mix,baked to directions on box
2 cans apple pie filling
1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1 large cool whip
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
2 cups walnuts or pecans finely chopped

How To Make cinnamon apple delight cake

Step 1

Bake cake according to package,I use a sheet pan to bake because it takes less cooking time. Your going to crumble the cake.

Step 2

Pour pie filling in bowl,mix in cinnamon an all spice,cut up apple slices in small pieces
Step 3

thaw cool whip, mix in apple pie spice
Step 4

In a truffle dish or glass bowl crumble 1/3 of cake over bottom of bowl,spread apple pie filling over cake,sprinkle 1/3 nuts over pie filling, spread 1/3 cool whip mixture over nuts. Layer,ending with cool whip,sprinkle top with extra nuts to decorate,cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
