ciambellotto

Updated on Jun 23, 2019

"Ciambella" is an Italian bundt cake. Every region has it's own version of it. The version of the Marche region usually is found under the name "ciambellone", but my aunt used to call it "ciambellotto". It's a very simple, basic cake recipe, and it is used not only as a dessert but also as a sweet breakfast. If you feel fancy, you can also add some rum, but my aunt only used the lemon zest.
