cream cheese softened
white or cider vinegar
walnuts, finely chopped
How to Make Chocolatey Chocolate Chip Cake
1Beat cream cheese until fluffy.
2Gradually beat in sugar.
3Add egg and blend until smooth.
4Stir in flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
5Beat together water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
6Gradually add flour to flour mixture, blending well.
7Turn into a greased 9" square baking pan.
8Drop cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls over batter.
9Sprinkle with chocolate pieces and walnuts.
10Bake at 350 degrees for 30-50 minutes until cake tester comes out clean and top springs back when touched.
12To serve, cut into squares from pan.
