1 1/2 cwhite sugar
2 tspbaking powder
1 cwhite sugar
1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
2 1/2 cboiling water
How to Make Chocolate Upside Down Cake..(makes it own Pudding)
- preheat oven to 350 degrees
cream together margarine and 1 1/c cups of white sugar
- then add milk, salt, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, flour, and baking powder.. this will be really thick..
spread out in 9x13 pan or little smaller if you like
- next take
1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed..
1/2 c cocoa..
mix together - then sprinkle over the top of the cake
- then very carefully pour boiling water over the cake.. this is what makes the pudding beneath the cake... time is 20-25 mins..
toothpick test on the cake...dont go all the way down or pudding will make it look like it is not done. Also, have to becareful not to over cook... the time may vary oven to oven..enjoy
