While you can make this in a cake pan or muffin pan, I like the muffin pan for a more individual serving size. Works great for bake sales and treats.

How to Make Chocolate Toffee Cake


  1. Mix pudding and milk together, stir until it starts to thicken
  2. Slowly add the cake mix. Batter will be very thick
  3. Stir in 1-1 1/2 cups of toffee pieces. The more toffee you put in the more gooey it will be.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 cake pan or divide evenly into muffin pans.
  5. Sprinkle toffee pieces onto before baking
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Time may vary depending on pan and oven so be sure to check for done-ness.
  7. Let cool and enjoy
