Ingredients
- CAKE
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ICING
- 1 stick butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make chocolate sheet cake

Step 1CAKE: In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, and salt

Step 2In a saucepan, put your butter, water, Crisco, and cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over flour mixture. Mix well.

Step 3Then, in another bowl, mix your eggs, baking soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Add to the other mixture, mixing completely.

Step 4Pour into a greased, floured jellyroll pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Step 5ICING: On low heat, melt together your butter, cocoa and milk.

Step 6To this add your powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer.

Step 7Make sure to ice the cake while it is HOT!
