Ingredients For chocolate pound cake

  • 1/2 c

  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 4 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
  • 1 tsp
    instant coffee powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make chocolate pound cake

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook in an angel food pan. If you use a Bundt pan, you will need two.

    Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar until fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  • 4
    Gradually add dry ingredients while alternately adding milk. Once mixed add vanilla. Pour batter into a floured angel food pan. Bake.
